CN Dental Seminars was started in 2004, after a casual conversation between Dr. Kevin Calzonetti and Dr. Peter Nkansah. The premise was simple and had precedent: a winter dental meeting in a warm location. Barbados was chosen as the first location because it was familiar to them. It was there that Dr. Calzonetti and Dr. Nkansah struck up a friendship while lecturing. The key underlying theme for the seminars was excellence. Substance was to always take precedence over style.
To date, dentists and their team members from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Barbados have all attended the Caribbean Dental Seminar and the feedback has been wonderful!
Both Dr. Peter Nkansah and Dr. Kevin Calzonetti are private practitioners in Ontario, Canada, and are active in organized dentistry as well as education.
Dr. Peter Nkansah is a dentist-anaesthesiologist with a practice in Toronto. He is a part-time staff member at the University of Toronto in the Department of Anaesthesia, a member of the editorial board of the dental journal "Oral Health", and the current president of the Canadian Academy of Dental Anaesthesia.
Dr. Kevin Calzonetti is a board-certified endodontist with a practice Stoney Creek, Ontario. He is also a part-time staff member at the University of Toronto, in the Department of Endodontics. He lectures internationally and is active in his local dental societies. |
